Bio

Joelle LB (b. 1981) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal.

Her physical art is shaped by her extensive experience working with photography, fashion design, special effects makeup, and sculpture. For years, her connection to nature has been deepened through the avid practice of foraging and herbal medicine, which fuels her current artistic process. This direct connection to plants guides her current BFA in Fibres, concentrated in textiles, plant dyes, paper, and printing.

This physical foundation is balanced by a parallel digital practice using AI, robotics, and custom-built electronics to develop a hybrid body of work.

She entered the NFT community in 2021 and has since sold hundreds of artworks to crypto art collectors. Her work has been featured internationally, including exhibitions at The Mesa Museum of Contemporary Art, Artverse Paris, Scope Miami Beach, NFT NYC, and at 0xSociety in Montreal where she had a solo show, Into The Void, in 2023.
