Bio
Joelle LB (b. 1981) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the balance between emotional processing and the search for grounding. Her work follows two distinct creative paths: one channels chaos to process complex emotions, while the other seeks to find balance to restore inner peace.
Her practice is rooted in a manual, tactile love for materials, developed through work in fashion design, special effects makeup, sculpture, photography, and her current focus on textiles. This physical foundation is balanced by a parallel digital practice using AI, robotics, and custom-built electronics to develop a multifaceted body of work.
She explores this duality directly through her ongoing AI project, a fictional artist created with AI tools and code, where she uses custom trained models and automated systems to test the limits of human-machine collaboration and creative authorship.
She joined the NFT community in July 2021 and has since been featured by The Mesa Museum Of Contemporary Art, Artverse (Paris), 0xsociety (solo show, Montreal), TimePieces, Scope (Art Basel, Miami), NFT NYC, Monolith, Mecenate Fine Art and Light Art collective.
